Half of it was along a canal, and those which usually avoid going up and down hills ;-) And my bike is not the mountain type (not a racing bike either, although it is shaped like one): much more efficient if you want to go some distance.
mj: you're welcome. I'll answer to you latest post on Political Notio tomorrow since it's pretty late already and my wife is reminding me (quite correctly) that I'm supposed to do my share of housework...
both of you: France is definitely worth a visit. You'd probably be at the same time pleased with what you see and disappointed - for instance, I'm sorry to say, the only parties where wine is the main beverage are usually English-speaking parties. Diffrent story if you're invited for a meal of course. Oh, and by the way, I'm a pretty regular visitor to the US, and I do like it a lot there.Le Plumehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06892807678626596310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11916290.post-1112731993307148422005-04-05T22:13:00.000+02:002005-04-05T22:13:00.000+02:00Beautiful pic. I greatly encourage foreigners (non-Americans) to visit.

I'm going to try and keep the site's attention on international relations. Occassionally I will slip.

Since your visit, I have added some posts from my old site to Political Notio. When you get time check them out, I would like your feedback. You might have to scroll down the page a bit.

Thanks again.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06618068748001963820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11916290.post-1112729333554025092005-04-05T21:28:00.000+02:002005-04-05T21:28:00.000+02:0040 miles? Now, my cross-country bike spends more time leaning against the stairs in my foyer. Poor bike.

I recently read Hemingway's, Moveable Feast. Makes me want to go back to Paris, rent an apartment, and live like a local for a while (which means I'd get to drink lots of wine, right?).Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12060768458279252327noreply@blogger.com
